The Journey So Far
Spirit Road History
Spirit
Road Radio
began
broadcasting in February 2006. Sponsored by the AFSCME
labor union, our first show highlighted today’s
childcare crisis and the work to organize MN childcare
workers. Since then we aired monthly on AM 950-KTNF
for three years. Each August we’d broadcast live from
the MN State Fair. Over thirty-six shows we developed
and tightened the format while clarifying our mission.
